Our incredible range including beds, suites and occasional furniture, spread across three floors, is designed to provide comfort to those who require it, and our extensive selection of electrically operated power lift recliner chairs are ideal for those with mobility problems. Andrew, David and Nicola, the current directors of our successful business, consistently go above and beyond for our customers – ensuring they receive the best service possible.
Established in Leeds in 1946, Kettley's has been providing our customers with high quality furniture for nearly 70 years.
It wasn't until 1978 however, when the company was taken over by Stephen Collop that the company began to specialise in chairs. We have since provided our customers with not only a vast selection, but also the opportunity to have our product completely made to measure. Our thriving business continued to expand, and in 1992 we extended to double the size making their store an incredible 10,000 square foot. Not only did we expand our space, we also continued to develop our wonderful services for customers by creating a free home visit option for those who struggle with their mobility, and also providing free removals of old furniture, making a potentially stressful experience as easy as possible for the customer.
Due to Kettley's maintaining high standards of service and great quality of furniture, we were asked by the Prince of Wales Mansion to furnish their brand new reception in 2014. It is exciting projects like this that show that even after 70 years, Kettley's still manages to impress.
Before Kettley's was established in 1946, the building was used as a Pub.
Kettley's are continuing to develop their business to ensure that we sustain our high level of customer care. With the recent plan to create a free tea room for all customers, some of which have travelled many miles just to visit the store, shows that Kettley's are still bursting with ideas to make the furniture shop the best of it's kind.
Kettley's have also recently supported several local charities including Rawdon Fun Day, the Dog's Trust and Forget Me Not to show our support within the local community.
